Most websites are running 5-15 scripts, or more, in the background, tracking your every move – where you click, what you look at, and more. These scripts also make the load time for websites slower, and can crash your browser window if not integrated properly.

Many of these scripts are managed by huge software conglomerates. While these corporations have privacy policies in place to dictate what they can and can’t do with your data, there is little to no oversight to verify that the corporation actually upholds what it says it will do. And these privacy policies are often changed without warning.

We do need to maintain some level of website usage data, to know, among other things, when to update resources. And so we do need to run an analytics program in the background. However, we have opted to run only one analytics program, and to use something that is open source, and that we can self-host. This means that we manage all of our own data.

What information do we collect?

If you fill out a form on our website, then obviously, we have the information you filled out in our form. This information is only used to correspond with you and to help you; on some of our websites, your email address may then be added to our email list. You can easily unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the email.

As long as you don’t submit any identifiable information, such as through a form, we don’t collect any identifiable information.

Do you share information with anyone?

No. We don’t sell, trade or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. However, this does not include trusted third parties who assist in operating our website, conducting our business, taking over client services, or servicing you, the client, so long as the third party keeps this information confidential.

We may release your information if we believe it to be appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
